Kaziranga National Park
Kaziranga National Park, located in the districts of Golaghat and Nagaon, is one of India's most celebrated wildlife sanctuaries. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985, the park is famous for protecting the world's largest population of the endangered Greater One-Horned Rhinoceros.

Manas National Park
Situated along the foothills of the Himalayas on the Indo-Bhutan border, Manas National Park was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. It is renowned for its exceptional biodiversity and spectacular landscapes.
The park is home to many endangered species, including the Golden Langur, Pygmy Hog, Hispid Hare, Bengal Tiger, Indian Elephant, and Indian Gaur. Visitors can enjoy jeep safaris, river rafting, birdwatching, and nature walks while exploring this pristine wilderness.
Charaideo Maidams
The Charaideo Maidams were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2024. They are the ancient royal burial mounds of the Ahom dynasty, which ruled Assam for nearly six centuries.
Often referred to as the "Pyramids of Assam," the Maidams combine earthen mounds with underground chambers that served as the final resting places of Ahom kings, queens, and nobles. These remarkable monuments showcase the engineering skills, architectural traditions, and cultural beliefs of the Ahom civilization and represent one of India's most significant archaeological heritage sites.
