Dibrugarh
WildlifeDehing Patkai National Park is a lush tropical rainforest located in the Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts of Assam. Known as the "Amazon of the East," it is famous for its dense evergreen forests, rich wildlife, colorful butterflies, and diverse bird species.
Dehing Patkai was declared a Wildlife Sanctuary in 2004 and became a National Park in 2021. It is an important conservation area for elephants, hoolock gibbons, clouded leopards, and many rare plant species.
