Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is a unique national park located in the Tinsukia district of Assam. Known for its wetlands, grasslands, and forests, it is famous for its rich biodiversity, rare birds, and the unique feral horses found on its river islands.

History

Dibru-Saikhowa was declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1997 and a National Park in 1999. It is one of Assam's most important protected areas for wildlife and migratory birds.
