Darrang
WildlifeOrang National Park, located in Darrang and Sonitpur districts of Assam, is a beautiful wildlife sanctuary often called the "Mini Kaziranga." It is famous for its one-horned rhinoceroses, Royal Bengal tigers, elephants, and diverse birdlife.
Orang was declared a Wildlife Sanctuary in 1985 and became a National Park in 1999. It is an important conservation area for Assam's wildlife.
