Sivasagar
HistoricalRang Ghar is a historic amphitheatre in Sivasagar, Assam. Built by the Ahom kings, it is considered one of the oldest surviving amphitheatres in Asia and is a major symbol of Assam's royal heritage.
Rang Ghar was built in 1746 by Ahom King Pramatta Singha. It was used by the royal family to watch traditional games, sports, and cultural performances.
